Meet Andrew
Andrew has dedicated his life to helping others navigate the complexities of the world with trustworthy and actionable information.
At LinkedIn, where he is the editor at large for jobs and career development, he applies this mission to help members land their next jobs and advance in their careers through his broadcasts and newsletters, which reach more than a million people every week.
Andrew is guided by three truths that he developed after spending the better part of a decade in this space:
Work doesn’t have to make you miserable.
You get to dictate your relationship with work.
Work shouldn’t be your entire identity.
In addition to his job search and career guidance, Andrew is also dedicated to helping professionals grow in the AI age. He does so by paying attention to research and speaking with the people behind those experiments; reporting on industry trends; and much more.
Andrew’s commitment to helping people with accurate and actionable information comes from his long career.
He spent the better part of a decade at Reuters before joining LinkedIn in 2018. While there, he covered the White House, Affordable Care Act, and worked his way up to be the news agency's senior medical journalist. He ended his time at Reuters as digital editor, helping to oversee the news agency’s website and social media.
Outside of work, Andrew is still passionate about his profession. He serves as the chair of the alumni board for Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where he graduated from in 2011 as a Stabile Scholar in Investigative Journalism. He also served for four years as the ethics committee chairperson for the Society of Professional Journalists, helping overhaul the organization's code of ethics for the digital age. His work earned him the Wells Memorial Key, the Society’s highest honor.
He received his undergraduate degree in communication studies from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania.
